A few folks have told me that they miss my blog. I miss my blog! But what I really miss is having something interesting to say. I don't feel like anything blog-worthy is going on in my life or my head. Each day goes on pretty much like the last. No significant changes here or there.
Life is what it is. My life is what it is.
I want change. I want something new. But I don't see it coming. I don't see any way to MAKE it come. I'm not going to whine about it though. I promise.
Another Day

I went back and looked at how your blog changed in subtle ways over the years. You mentioned how you started it as a "to do" list, then it became an outlet for you widow journey. Maybe you could change focus again? Someday your kids will be grown up. What would you like them to remember about this time? Some of the best memories are the smallest things.
Anyway, (((HUGS))) to you. Anything you write is good with me, I'm just glad to see you! :)
Love,
Stella
Sometimes it is just hard to see anything about life that is bloggable but we think we have to be profound or interesting or something.
When I don't feel interesting or new, I tend to meme or comment on things or blatantly steal ideas from others. But that is just me.
I will echo Stella in saying that it was good to see a post from you. I don't come here to be entertained but to just to catch up with you and yours
I agree with anniegirl, I don't come here to be entertained (although I often am). I come here to hear from a good friend. How has your day been? So what if it was mundane. How are the boys? Surely they are into some shenanigans of some sort.
I continue to keep your mom and your sister in my thoughts and prayers.
One more thing--this post is the exact reason I don't blog, twitter, facebook or myspace--I don't think my life supplies enough excitement to entertain the entire world through technology.

Stella: You have GOT to be kidding! I am not letting my kids read this! Ever.
Okay, that's not true; I will let them read the things I've written about Nick. And maybe some of the things I've written about them. And one or two selective pieces about myself. But that's it.
Hmmmmm... Sounds like a project: Compile the pieces that I would want them to read at some time.
Annie: Yeah, I used to use memes as filler. But I do those elsewhere now -- and most of the people who follow me here are also there.
But you're right: It's a good way to stay plugged in here. In fact, I already know what I'm going to steal for tomorrow.
Karen: That's the joy of the social networking sites -- you don't have to be interesting or entertaining. In fact, I think that MAY actually be against the rules.
Sometimes mundane is good, especially after all we have been through over the last few years. I'm glad there is no huge excitement in your life these days. That can be a very good thing.
Good to see you posting again.
Snap!
Another sister link.
Lots of love,
Ali
I keep teetering on the edge of getting a facebook. I'm already on twitter. Maybe...!
My biggest reason for continuing my blog is so that my kids have it as a record of their childhood, but they probably won't read it anyway! LOL
