This was a fun one. Since it's a bit rainy I tried the drops on leaves, drops hanging from a branch, sky reflected in a pool -- the usual. Not satisfied, I came inside and took pictures of the water stain on my kitchen ceiling. Then I set a glass on the counter and played with that, changing lights and angles. When I took the glass away, I saw a splash of water on the counter ... hmmm ... What happens if I make that splash into a puddle?
I liked it. Here are my alternate choices. Which would you have featured in the #1 spot?

I like the counter splash, but try playing around with cropping it different ways.

ReplyDeleteI've tried cropping it a few different ways, but I think you lose the big picture of it being water on a counter ... and maybe that's okay.
I really like the first of the new ones, cropped but not flipped. I also like the group as variations on a theme.
